Also Stroll was penalised for speeding in the pit lane - I thought they had limiters meaning they couldn’t do that, or did he just forget to turn it on?
It’s a manual switch on and off. Most violations are on entry when they do not slow down enough by the time they cross the pit line.

Maybe Lando will realize someday that losing a Richard Mille is only a monetary loss. As a timepiece they suck.
How so? Plenty of people buy and wear them, ever tried one on and used one? The looks aren't for everybody but the choice of exotic materials, construction, fit and finish, comfort and timekeeping are first rate. Expensive, yes, but many super luxury items are. No need to denigrate items that aren't meant for everyone.

Rafael Nadal had his RM stolen in 2012 after winning the French Open, but eventually recovered. Richard Mille (the man) told him not to let the loss ruin his win.

I have indeed tried on a Felipe Massa Richard Mille at a boutique. Nice piece of engineering, but a terrible timepiece. Illegible and huge. Bought a Deep Sea Chronograph instead. Of course price was also a consideration.

Lando was crazy wearing his watch to Wembley Stadium, there were some right proper nutters there. When I’ve been there in the past I’d wear my £30 beater or Swatch as there’s a good chance it’d get lost in a crush even if it wasn’t nicked.

when I read the story first thing I thought was
where on earth did he park his McLaren that a couple of thugs were able to mug him ?
Second thought was,
I didn’t know Richard Mille did a watch that only cost £40k….


On both counts Lando has probably spent too much time around folks who’s wealth make him unexceptional - and he’s forgotten what it’s like to be in the real world.
(Not that it in anyway excuses what happened to the lad)

We'll know Bottas is done with when Mercedes comes out with the vote of confidence. Whenever the vote of confidence is done in the media, the person is being fired at the end of the year or sooner.
