Lots of federal licenses come as print it out yourself on regular paper! At the end of the day it's the watch that matters just like with those licenses it's the expertise behind the license that is important.

Without doubt but to your average watch buyer what will hold more weight? An official looking Certificate of Authenticity from Omega or an appraisal from "Some bloke on a watch forum". It might make it easier to sell a watch to the more uninitiated as opposed to those on here.

路So you are telling me that the new Extracts will just be a pdf file emailed to us? I am not very happy If that is the case. That stinks.
without the original signature, the pdf is just scrap.

路I got free info on my Czech Longines in a email for free from Longines so if Omega now sending it the same way they can stick it if you got to pay for a email. I paid once for a Omega archive letter something about the fancy letter with wax seal envelope but won鈥檛 pay for a email. I once paid for a archive letter from Zenith for a vintage zenith special and was well worth it got a nice archive letter and a bunch more info all in the mail and Zenith even called me on the phone to talk about my watch was really cool. But being in america and we in the us can鈥檛 get a archive letter on line was a pain to get no Omega store knew how to get it in my area. So had a forum member in England get it and then send it to me won鈥檛 jump through hoops like that for a stupid pdf file. Still don鈥檛 understand why omega won鈥檛 let the us do this on line when all other major watch co like zenith and longines let you do it on line.

路Just an update. The process is much faster now. Ordered on Sunday and just got the PDF version of the Extract.
On a different note, has anyone seen this before for "delivered to"? I never seen a specific jeweller for delivery location before 馃槙

Well more like THE watch forum. If you have seen and read @mac_omega's book on manual wind chronometres you will see the breadth of knowledge here and he is one of several with that much knowledge of vintage omegas. I think if you're looking at high grade vintage omegas OF is known to you.
