But the new Extract sucks, a cheap envelope with a folded extract, looks even cheaper than a Xmas card. I missed the last red folder and wax seal
According to the Omega website they now also offer a "Certificate of Authenticity" for CHF800 and takes 2 months minimum.

It does sound like that. Who's going to be the first to pony up CHF800 and find out? It would indeed be interesting as to how they will do it.
So you are telling me that the new Extracts will just be a pdf file emailed to us? I am not very happy If that is the case. That stinks.

Just an update. The process is much faster now. Ordered on Sunday and just got the PDF version of the Extract.
On a different note, has anyone seen this before for "delivered to"? I never seen a specific jeweller for delivery location before 馃槙
Without doubt but to your average watch buyer what will hold more weight? An official looking Certificate of Authenticity from Omega or an appraisal from "Some bloke on a watch forum". It might make it easier to sell a watch to the more uninitiated as opposed to those on here.
