Hi there, see below. Sold as fully original and looking nice. Solid gold btw. Any ideas on how correct the statement is on its originality? Thanks!
The markers do not appear aligned very well with the solid-filled segments of the minute track. That is a red flag to me.
Factory fonts are usually more crisp and clean imo. Look at the "globs" at the top of the A's and the end of the G. Also "SWISS MADE" seems to be word centered instead of phrase centered and the letter spacing of "MADE" appears inconsistent to me relative to "SWISS". As Mike said, "Pending clearer photos". Please give us a head-on, clear picture and the final word may be revealed. If in doubt, go with what Mike says.
Since I’m awake, can’t sleep, the woman next door is moaning. Honestly. Anyway looked at this and found a better pic
Now I'm leaning toward original based on the difference in quality between the first and last photos (although they are still shit). Sub dial now has nice circular surface finish, text is looking closer to original, but much clearer pics also highlight the condition of the dial.
@VetPsychWars Same reference with same dial in better condition. My sneaking suspicion is that they are original.
Compare the last A in Omega and the first A in Automatic between all of the pictures. See if you see what I am seeing, Tom
Snailing on the sub-seconds, bolder 15-30-45-60 markers, appropriate aging of the dial, correct hands set, appropriate Omega logo for the dial, etc. Why are we discussing this?
I say it´s genuine. I have seen several of these, with slightly thicker fonts. The watch to the right is mine, and it's not solid gold (14K gold filled).
