Hi, I think that was at an Auction House before its appearance on eBay. I saw it and thought it just looked "off". Auction houses usually know their stuff but I did buy a fake constellation in an online auction earlier this year, they refunded it no problems and apologised they had catalogued it when their expert was self-isolating, so I suppose the odd one can slip through the net

·I inherited this "Omega" from my wife's grandfather. The dial says "Omega electra self-wind", the electra part looks original as does the crown just under the 12 mark, the back says "14k Swiss Made" but the inside of the back says "Chancellor base metal" also has a Chancellor 1 jewel movement, a very sad fake

Well, in all fairness the auction doesn't seem to be trying to mislead. They clearly note it is only omega vintage movement and omega strap/clasp - the rest is custom:
"Omega Vintage Automatic Movement 500-565 Series, Movement details – cal. Omega 562, 24 jewels, incabloc, 50 h power reserve, sweep second hand, Reed's regulator.Leather Strap.Night glow hands. Original Omega Planet Ocean Strap & Clasp. Auctioneers note:- This watch is a bespoke watch with genuine Omega movement and Strap which has been professionally restored in a modern casing & bezel. Timing has been checked and verified."
