·Over the last few months these seem to be getting more and more prevalent on eBay U.K.
At first I thought it was the same person selling a single watch and re-listing it every time the buyer realised it was a bag of crap and returned it.
However, there are now multiple listings by multiples sellers (although i think it’s one seller with multiple accounts). These watches have taken the Homers car approach, using redials with black dial bodies, crosshairs, Arabic 3, 9, 12, triangular hour markers, applied logo and rich orange lume. Obviously the seller makes no mention of this in their listing. I asked if the dial was original and the reply was “it looks original but hard to tell with vintage dials”.
Make no mistake, the dials are at best fantasy redials and at worst outright fake and the watches are worth no where near the asking price.
