I have been observing that there are DON bezels that have the 120 offset from the 30 .. my 105012 66 CB has it around the 29,5 minute. Was there a manufacturing fault?
Thanks

I’m likely missing something obvious given the way you framed the question, but I’m interested to better understand the assumption that the 120 and 30 should line up? [EDIT: I understand the issue / question now...
is this bezel not just improperly rotated/misaligned altogether?]
There’s something weird going on as the dial looks like it’s been pushed up in that bottom right-hand corner (as much as a round thing can have a corner).
There is a fair difference in the gap between the 225 through 140 marker and the minute track, compared with the 85 - 110 section
Perhaps this has to do with the "ticks" of the chrono hand and exactly where it lands on the tachy as it goes around--it does not land centered on the hour marker, right? I don't have my speedy with me at the moment but it may land at the leading edge of the marker (which then should align with the 120).
Id dare say all of them, if not for this mystery ( it based on the battleship grid, it does appear the dial is somehow torqued: assuming the handset is center, the line passes between both the 60 and 30 dots as well as the handset pin)
Well it is quite common then for some not to be aligned as well. As a random examples, a good proportion of them at Speedmaster 101 seem to exhibit this. ’https://speedmaster101.com/105-012/. Is this just a common misalignment of bezel or dial them?
