It was a very good buy, yay ::psy::

While trawling the web for interesting Tissot, I also found this one:

Regular boring seastar? Maybe, but look closer:
-n11 endlinks 馃槖
-nice BOR, very Omega-like, with a Tissot clasp
-onyx indexes?
-the case looks like a 166.010, the back may have had a shaved off seamonster?

A google and forum search produced nothing. It would be amazingly stupid to deface a seamaster case to produce a lower franken seastar (and sell it cheaply), the overall patina checks out, so it is probably original. Maybe a seastar made using unused seamaster hardware? Omega and Tissot were on the same boat after all. No view of the inside so I won't know what reference it is until I have it in a few weeks.
Send me the link - unless you鈥檙e going for it

Your Stadium is quite uncommon and make me curious, I don't remember to have seen one before.

Love it.
Could you tell more about movement and size?

Best,
Peter

Sure! It is a 1947 ref. 6216-8 with cal. CH27-41H inside. The case measures 35mm crown excluded.
