Tissot 18ct gold manual.
My most precious watch because it was given to my father in autumn 1957 as an engagement present from my mum's parents 🥰
My dad passed it onto me during my MBA celebrations, still have the original box which also has a couple of the inserts with their names and date used in their Italain wedding day sugared almond favours. 😀

Nice collection of Tissots. Currently looking at a rectangular models. Seen one on ebay that I am keen on. Not sure about originality though.

I think its a lovely watch. I think there is a bit of interest in it though and it will probably go beyond my budget. Glad I have been alerted to this shape though. Its a style I'm just getting old enough to appreciate.

Dial and hands look OK from those pictures. Always ask for movement and case pictures before buying.

Hi, does anybody knows what type of Lume was used in the tissots from 40s-50s. Radium, tritium, luminova or other light-charged?

With the Geiger counter, I tested 1 of my tissot and I got counts of around 100 CPM. However I’m sure this is too little to be radium.. any idea?
