So I am seeing a theme here- you want a ceramic Rolex and have a Seiko budget. So either get a Seiko or save for the Rolex- those seem to be your best options

Quality is obviously not on par, but is really great though. Christopher Ward design are original, I was talking about Steinhart. They basically copy the sub that's what I meant.
The Steinhart 500 titanium is not a complete rip off like their submariner copy. If you like it go with this, quality is really nice for the price, and you'll save budget for your next big purchase, which would be the hulk or the seamaster.

I think you’re on the money!
I don’t think I would spend submariner money on a watch.
Unless I win a lottery and have money to throwaway.
So I looking for one with same if not better quality and finish than the Rolex and Submariner for about $2K

I would buy one now but that’s not really the case here in the second hand market.
The Aquis goes for about $2K used condition.

If you can stretch it a little more, look to Tudor like the Black Bay series- particularly on the used market. Here or over on The Rolex Forum is a good place to get an idea of pricing. Search Watchrecon.com and you'll see what's out there for private listings on the bigger forums.

If this was available the waiting list would be longer than the for a Subc, thankfully there's always something like this Longines to consider.

I have two divers, a SubC and a Glycine Combat Sub (shoutout to Dougiedude for the Combat Sub). I wouldn't part with either of them.

@OP, have you tried Watch Recon? Search on Dive watch and you'll get quite a few options.

    Gratuitous pics.

The new Longines come with Ceremic bezel, but if Iam spending $2K is Longines the best option or something on the used market?
The Tudor Black Bay is certainly a lot dearer.

My comment was in reply to you question about Raymond Weil, but Oris 2nd user values are also likely to tank on the pre-owned market.

People want ridiculous money for the mid tier brands, what are they thinking?
Spend an extra 20% and we get a brand new .

There are a lot of unrealistic day-dreamers and fanboys that keep the market hot on some of these watches. There are also deals to be had in the second hand market for clean examples if you search. Patience is key and you need to be ready to pounce when you see it.
I have learned that If you settle for less than exactly what you want, you will buy 10 watches that may be excellent watches, but none scratch the itch. You need to save your pennies and hold out for the gold.

Like this one. Yes, a bit more than you want to spend but it’s what you want aside of the ceramic bezel and it’s a classic.

Or this one-the big leagues. I have purchased from Dan, he’s legit and one of the good guys.

Getting your brain around the cost and just going for it is painful at first, if it’s what you want-stop dicking around.

The Seamaster cost about $7000 retail.
There a way to find out the improvements and models through the years so I can decide on which year mode I would like to get.
