Differences in Dials on Omega Geneve's

So both of these Omega Geneve's are the same ref (166.070), yet the placement of the -T SWISS MADE T- is different on different ones being sold, is this a sign of a fake or is it a case of differences in years of production?

Both correct for the reference. Look more closely and you will spot differences in addition to the SWISS MADE placement. Lower one would be later production.

BTW the upper one appears to have heavy wear to the lugs.

Oh so the upper placement is earlier production, got it! What years approx would be the early and late production runs be if you know?

You see these from around 1969 to maybe 1972. After that Omega moved to very plain movements in the 1xxx series.
