did Omega stop doing factory service of old watches?

I have my dad's old original Bond diver 2531.80 from the late 90s, a few months ago I was looking at getting it serviced through Omega and I'm pretty sure their website said it would be $700 and you'd ship it to the factory and they'd do all this nice stuff and send it back to you.

Now the site says it's $550 and you drop it off at a certified dealer and they service it.

Did something change, or am I imagining all of this? I'm kind of liking the old deal better, to be honest.

Same as it's always been as far as I can tell, prices probably went up. Some of the older models they do send to Switzerland, but most get serviced in your local country. I let my OB handle the shipping.
