Only on Worn and Wound as far as I can see: http://wornandwound.com/introducing-dan-henry-collection-vintage-watch-lovers-affordable-take-new-vintage/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed: wornandwound (worn&wound) I've only made it through about 10 of the 18 pages of the WUS thread on Dan Henry, but maybe there's one in there somewhere... http://forums.watchuseek.com/f71/dan-henry-1963-heuer-homage-3685258-10.html Edit: Just now painfully made it through the last 8 pages on WUS... there are no 1947 pics there... but lots of the 1970 compressor...
Well, then, I cannot wait for the smaller version of this watch, which I understand from another forum, will be out before too long..
I got worried about the size after I ordered it. But after receiving the watch - it looks and wears extremely well.
Cool! I wish I could pull off 45 mm. 42 mm is as much as my 7" wrist can handle ( to my taste at least). Fabulous bang for the buck indeed. I should get my 1963 soon. I'm so smitten with the watch's handsome looks that I don't really care if it's quartz or mechanical. And the price.... just amazing!
Two new chronos released today for $220USD.... I can't decide which one I want... wish they were auto or manual wind though
Omega is always the goal, however those kinds of funds don't exist at the moment. Still humming like a champ now on one of Jan's straps. However the date doesn't always change so a service is due soon. I'm going to California at the end of the month and planning on bringing it then sending it out for a service once I come back.
Wow they look so cool! I have the black 1963 and it is a stunner, especially on a mesh. I won't be able to get the Avi765 for a while so it scratches that itch just perfectly The only thing I do not like is the strap.... Yes it is extremely good quality for the price, but I feel like it is too thick and the fact that it does not taper makes it look clunky. However it's unfair to criticise them for this, it is truly an incredible piece for the money !
I know nothing about the watches, but an old, horse-trainer acquaintance of mine once warned me never to trust anyone with two first names.
