Been following an Amazing Vintage watch website for awhile now called Timeline.Watch & his Instagram account, from what Dan calls his 30 yrs of collecting Vintage pieces. He wanted to share his collecting habits & Vintage timeline/table. I was pleased to hear & see that he was going to produce a couple 3-4 different vintage inspired styles & I took the plunge. Hodinkee & Wornandwound also recently published a little insight about him & his AWESOME collection..which I read habitually.

    1963 LE .I got # 0049/1963

    42,5mm stainless steel 316L
    22mm lugs size
    47.3mm lug to lug
Stainless steel 12-hour rotating bezel with 5-min click
Screw-back case with Lockheed Blackbird 3D medal
Sapphire coated double domed mineral glass with Anti-Reflective treatment
    MOVEMENT

Miyota 6S20 quartz (Japan) chronograph with smooth motion center seconds. Watch seconds, 60-min and decimal subdials
    DIAL

Sandwich dial with patina Swiss lumens and silver subdials
60-min chrono subdial at 9 position and 1/10 seconds big subdial at 3 position
    WATCH ROLL

1 Canvas and genuine leather roll with three watch slots
STRAPS 1 Hand-sewn rustic brown Italian leather 1 Black military grade Nato

The other 1963 option..From his website

I opted for the silver bezel as I like the inspired Breitling AVI 765 look & I have nothing w/ a silver bezel. The only thing I would change would be the movement but then what Dan was inspired to do wouldn't of happened making a affordable piece that all can afford & @ $230.00 USD I couldn't pass it up.

I wonder if they would sell a sterile version? i.e. no "DAN HENRY" on the dial.
    If they do, I'm in.

If I could change anything it would be a hand wind mvmnt & a tapered strap. But I couldn't pass it up. Lots of bang for your buck on this.

Man the compressor with a nh35 movement for 250! Man that's a nice price.

Why not an auto or manual wind in the 63 with a great sandwich dial and gorgeous sub dials? At 650 I'd get one right now.

This guy gets it. Attention to detail homages but not copies.

    Yes, mechanical instead please!

Love the design... but would also prefer a bit smaller size. I suppose with that kind of beauty, though, I could live with it...

I also like the 1970 SC, but at 44mm, it's just too large...

Yeah that's what's stopping me. 44mm with 24 mm strap is a pretty big watch even if I've got a sneaky suspicion that it's not actually bigger then an skx at 42mm at least in how it wears. Waiting to see on wrist from the 2 of you that ordered one. That movement at that price with what appears to be that quality is a pretty convincing deal.
