Turned on the wayback machine to an oldy but goody, and one of my favorite action films, 3000 miles to Graceland. BUT never noticed this watch before. Very hard to get a screen capture, this is the clearest image.

What say you, OF experts?

Edit: Figured it out. Vintage 1950s Hamilton Ventura Electric, not the modern version.

Hamilton Ventura.

I'm sure I also saw it on a visit to Elvis's Graceland a few years back.

It's a Pacer, not a Ventura.

As someone once told me, "we're all weird in our own ways."

I'm looking to pull the trigger on an AT Skyfall sometime this week, and I'll be joining you in pausing the movie when I watch it...

I was under the impression that the Ventura was only made in solid gold as an "award watch" and that the Pacer was a gold filled model for general sale.

I don't pause but merily try to guess the watch in the quickest manner possible. Challenge per say...

Watched the Meg 2 last night and right off the bat in the first minute there is a shot of a dive watch on Jason Statham's arm, good close up too but for the life of me didn't recognize the brand, Seamaster-ish but not.

PS terrible movie, same league as the Sharknado series but less funny.

I was watch the Super League documentary on Apple TV and saw this. This particular scene was dramatized with this zoomed in shot, watching the seconds tick away, with suspenseful music playing in the background. Most everyone in this documentary can be seen wearing a sports Rolex, so it was fun to see an Omega ST1 used for this shot.

A little rare for a movie watch, a MKII!
