I dont understand this Speedy sillyness, so I think you should get a beaten up Seamaster.
You save some money and get a better watch that you dont have to worry about scratching.
And it has a sapphire crystal that can handle the real world.
Because it’s an iconic watch (Space history aside, it’s an iconic timepiece on it’s own merits) that hasn’t changed much in 50 years, is relatively affordable (relative being the word) and readily available to whomever wants one.
I’ve owned my ‘72 since 2002 and beat the living shit out of it as a daily wearer. Have had it serviced twice (once preventively and once becuase it stopped), and it’s been a workhorse.
That said, I have a love/hate with the watch- it’s as big as a dinner plate, sits like a slab on the wrist (particularly if you have bony wrists), and the dial is rather busy with lots of stick shapes which makes it hard for some of us with aging eyes to differentiate the shapes in low light.
But it’s just an awesome watch no matter how much I want to hate it- I still wear mine.

Why can’t you buy demollo if you’re in the EU and they’re in Poland? Don’t get that

Best to ask @demollo, but none of his listings says you can't buy if you're from the EU, they say "Price applicable only for buyers outside of EU." - which might be something to do with tax/duty payable?
