Can you please help w this vintage Seamaster?

Hi all,

On a whim I just bought this for my wife for Christmas, the shop is a reputable vintage guy here in Montreal. Just wondering about the specifics of this one? Appears to be 32mm, apparently 1954-55 vintage, pretty much unpolished original shape but that's the appeal (sorry for the crappy pics). It has been serviced earlier this year, runs well. Paid $400 US, probably a bit high but beggars can't be choosers 5 days from Christmas 😉

Nice find! Looks like a reference C2577-6SC to me, but I don't think I've ever seen those with Breguet numerals. Maybe some of the more experienced members can weigh in here...

Price not excessive IMO.
