·Roach7 is right, PayPal will not be of much help. You refunded before receiving the merchandise back. The buyer has both your money and the watch. I had this problem a few years ago, I refunded the wrong person. PayPal wasn't going to help me, I pleaded with the person whom I refunded to and he resent the money. Luck me. In your case he decided to keep the watch. I hope you have an open case on this if not CALL eBay right away. They may want to see email correspondence between the both of you.

·We discuss this in several threads. Paypal and Ebay are good for BUYER..........not SELLER, which their position become weaker and weaker.
I hope your buyer is an honest guy. I guess now many scammer learn how to be a con buyer.
My will yo put my watch for sale in Ebay is close to 0% now. Probably I would only sell it to my friends locally and to this forum which the buyer at least has been vetted by other members.

·Never ever refund a buyer on ebay until you receive the item back and have checked its real. Also insist it's returned via insured delivery.
Almost without fail ebay side with buyers and the seller can be left without their item or money.
