I bought an Omega on eBay earlier this year. Subsequently, I decided to buy one that was new. The old one was sold on eBay. The buyer now claims it was not. I am adding pictures that I took here. All I know is the watch as the serial number engraved on the back and this number matches the Omega cards that came with the watch. Need advice.thanks

Watch in your pictures looks authentic, in other words is a real Omega Planet Ocean. If I'm understanding your post correctly, you sold this on eBay and the buyer is claiming it is a fake. Sounds like they are trying to scam you. What exactaly does the buyer want to do to remedy the situations, wants some money back, return the watch...what? I sold my Speedmaster triple-date on eBay and the buyer told me my pictures were deceptive and the watch was smaller than the pictures made it look. He wanted a considerable amount of what he paid back, I said no and opened a despute case against him with ebay. I won, he kept the watch, I kept the money. You may want to look into this for yourself...contact eBay and explain the situation and see what they say. I have also heard through the forum here that ebay tends to side with buyers so be cautious. Keep us updated.

Through eBay I refunded the money and they are sending it back. I am going to confirm officially that it is real.

Hope everything end well with you.
I know they make a very high quality PO replica right now. I hope you already have your watch S/N etc so you know it is your watch that they return not something else. In this era, scammers are everywhere so be cautious.

Make sure that you get the same watch back. One scam is to send a fake back to you. This is why guys like Norman, @X350 XJR , fully document every aspect of the sale.
Perhaps you should have had them return the watch first.

Good question, I guess. I figure since the transaction is through PayPal, I'm protected.

I could be wrong but, but I believe that applies to the buyer, not the seller. ?

But if they don't send the item back, I can file a dispute and they will reverse my payment.

This is all new to me. I'm about 99.99 percent sure this watch is real. No expert, but it passed all the tests online about spoting fakes. I loved it so much, I decided to buy a brand new one after all.

Yes, the watch is real, that is why the buyer returning it is suspicious. If the buyer returns replaced fake, I can guarantee he will be long gone. What paypal will do is something you need to discuss with them.

I'm not so sure about that. If you just made the refund, you can try to ask eBay/Paypal to hold the fund, not release it until you can verify that the same watch has been returned to you. Be quick before the buyer withdraw the money as I don't think you can do anything after that even if they do not send the watch back to you.

According to eBay, if the item sent back is different, they can/will investigate.
