Holy, I'm deeply impressed about all the feedback! Thank you so much! Pictures....of course PICTURES! Not very good ones but at least you can see, it's true 😉

My Best
Markus

The bluish tinge to the bezel is indeed beautiful. Of course very beautiful dial too...

GREAT Group picture. There is another question especially for you gemini4 regarding the bracelets:

some of the links seem to be folded types (the one on the watch with the Alpha hands), while others seem to be solid ones (the one behind the one with the alphas). Any ideas on this?

Not a good bracelet pic but all of these bracelets are correct (some believed original) 7912 variety from 1963.

don't know if my question came across correctly. try to explain it on pictures.
Picture (1) with the "orange" background: on the very left you can see the "folded type" links. The links next to the clasp are the flexible links. (1964)

Picture (2) which shows part of the watch: the links seem to be "solid type" links. (1963)

I assume both are original, however anybody knows why there is such difference?

Thanks
Markus

Both are probably correct. As the below, much used, chart indicates 7912 links changed from solid to folded in 1963!

BTW, Markus, these questions are very advanced for such a new Speedie owner. Well done indeed!

My 105.002 is also a stick hand from the expected serial range, nothing wrong with that although the alphas are considered by many more attractive, the stick hands are what it came with and I'd rather keep it correct than try to mess with it.
