Bezel issue with Seamaster Planet Ocean 45.5mm

Hi everyone,

New here and a watch noob. I have a Seasmaster Planet Ocean 45.5mm for about 15 years, specifically this model: 232.30.46.51.01.002.

I have two minor issues with it. One is that the bezel insert has a blemish and I'd like to replace it. I think that's the easy part and I have found inserts online.

The other issue is that the bezel started to rotate in both directions even though it is unidirectional. I think that means the click spring is broken or there's some grime underneath it.

Could someone point me to where I can get a replacement click spring for this model? I can't seem to find what my bezel number is in order to find/buy a compatible a click spring.

Also, I live in the Boston area if you could recommend a good place to have it serviced in case I decide to not attempt the replacement myself.

Thanks

for about 15 years
Had it ever been serviced in this period?

I would just send it to Omega for a complete service and the insert and issue with the bezel will be solved as well.

That is something I am considering but would rather not send it and instead find a local reputable place to have it serviced.

Omega only sells the bezel complete with the steel ring, so if you've found the insert for sale only, those are pretty much guaranteed fake/aftermarket.

I don't mind if the insert and click spring are not OEM. I have found a matching insert. I just can't identify a matching click spring as I can't seem to find the bezel number or specs.

Ironically, mine came back from the Omega service like that, turning both ways, twice!
