Hi,

A gentleman wants to trade me this Seamaster Plant Ocean for $4000 worth of value. He claims that Omega is issuing him replacement warranty cards. I didn't think that they did this.

Does it look real to you from the pics? I have doubt. The bezel dot does not look right for sure.

Thank you for helping!

Looks like another fake version with the number 0001/5007 out there.

I wouldn't call him a gentleman.

the pictures are clearly of a fake watch. Are you saying that the watch the seller showed you in person looked different? If so, did he have an explanation for the pics of the fake? And I would be worried that he just replaced it with a better looking fake.

I think @Frosstman is addressing @nicolamilton’s comment above in saying the request is real, not the watch, and that his suspicions of the watch being fake have been confirmed.

The watch is obviously fake.

Astounding that they still make these fakes with those lume pips, and that clasp.... Doesn't matter which model they produce, they get used on all those market stall jobs.
Also slightly amazed you have to ask when it says Seamaster on the dial, but Speedmaster on the clasp, or am I seeing things?

Yes. I was stating that the request was real. Not the watch. Sorry for the confusion.

Closing thread as it has been resolved, watch is definitely counterfeit.
