Before and After with Vids & Pics: Spa Treatment Omega Speedmaster Automatic (Reduced) 3535.72.00

My Wife’s Speedy Reduced was in for a Spa treatment last week.
Together with the service center we have documented some before and after shots of the treatment that might be of interest for our OF members.

The Speedmaster in question is Reference: 3535.72.00
This version has a Mother Of Pearl Dial, Diamonds for bezel instead of the standard tachymeter and the infamous? Calibre 3220 movement.

Watch Performance Before Servicing:
Watch is 9-12 seconds fast, low beat error but what’s surprising is the very low amplitude.
Note, lift angle should be 51 so at full wind the amplitude is approx around 228 deg.

With such a low amplitude at full wind it begs to differ that this Speedy needs some TLC 🥰

Watch Performance After Servicing:
Correct lift angle set and the watch is showing a healthy 290+ amplitude.
Dial up this Speedy is averaging -002 to +1 Seconds / day.

Great performance after the Spa treatment.
Now the Speedy Reduced is back as part of the trio of Arabic numeral Speedy’s.
