A huge thanks to Al at ArcherWatches for fixing up my speedmaster! It is absolutely stunning and is restored to its original beauty. This watch was my father's, worn throughout the middle east with the millitary and shall provide years more of faithful service (also part of the reason why i didnt want to have the case polished).

here's what it looked like before, the cristal was all cracked and it needed a serious servicing. luckily it'd been sitting in my dads drawer since 1980 and i convinced him to part with it so i could have it serviced!

I'm wondering if this watch seems pretty hefty, how thick a mark iii speedmaster would be...
