I would like to see a year without limited editions.
That seems to be the way forward, not to mention isn't the new bond out that's a LE for sure.

Anyone else get the "Speedy Tuesday" email today? Thanked me for my support and said they'd like to put me at the front of the queue for the new Speedy to be released this year, yet it gave no details as to what I need to do or anything else. Odd email really.
I got the same email. I agree it's odd ... I was wondering if it's authentic, frankly.

I would wish for a completely new line of chronographs, with a strong real-life tie-in. Something completely new.

Either that, or a special reedition of the omega weems. It was so beautiful in that dunkirk movie

And something without the word "master" in it

I think my wish is pretty realistic. The 9900 movement in a '57 speedmaster coaxial without faux lume or a cross hair in the seconds subdial. The 9900 is slimmer than the 9300 currently in the 57 line, and I loved how it wore in the new Racing when i tried on at my local AD.

Have said it in other threads but I'll say it here in greater detail - perhaps one of my favorite watches I've ever owned has been the Good Planet AT GMT - beautiful, and crazy-capable. Loved the white lacquer dial, the blued markers, the IAHH - everything... Everything but the size. The old cases wore flat and broad (partially due to the lack of a rotating bezel), and the AT lugs had a way of pulling away from the wrist in an awkward way - and with a 6.5" wrist and a 43mm case that wore large for its size, I regrettably parted ways with it. Fingers crossed Omega revisits the GMT with the new AT cases, which seem to wear a lot more comfortably than past iterations.

I heard from third-parties (ie. this was not from Omega/OB/AD staff so I don't know if it is reliable info) that there will be a new wave pattern on the updated SMP300, new band options and that the diver will retain the He valve, with no significant changes to the case design. Someone else on the OF posted that there would be a black white panda Speedy (not reverse panda) and apparently this might be true.

Is there any Anniversary for the Speedy this year?

Every year can be justified as Speedy Anniversary Year...so many NASA missions spread out during 60s and 70s馃槜

Hey, at least they let us order them. Often times, Rolex won't even sell that stuff to us. lol
Never mind not being able to buy Rolex straps, you can't even get on a wait list let alone buy their watches.

I'd predict more subtle changes, like how the 2500 morphed to the 8500 Planet Ocean from a few years back, but if they re-orient the wave to a vertical pattern, I'mma lose my bananas.

Breathe easy...waves are not vertical and changes are indeed subtle馃榾

A baby PloProf re-edition... Totally inconceivable in view of the diver range (SM 300m, PO 600m...) but let鈥檚 dream!

I like to think of the PO as a baby PloProf.
