How's this for putting the "wish" in "wishlist"? I'd love to see a watch from Omega with a mechanical alarm complication. Super bonus points if they get their hands on a stash of SL980 calibers and bring out something with the minute-exact alarm setting of the Memomatic.

correction to earlier... let's have this with a 60 minutes bezel as a tachymètre bezel has no use in space 😁
1978-2018 = 40 years Alaska III
a great opportunity to bring out a historic correct neo-vintage black radial dial Speedmaster to commemorate the Space Shuttle program

Wasn’t the Seamaster created in 1948? 70th anniversary in 2018

Either a 36-38mm Seamaster or Constellation Pie Pan watch re-issue with a domed sapphire and a new thin movement (is the 8806 thin enough?) is the one I want. Omega needs to embrace the dress watch segment seriously as they already have tons of sports watches.

I‘d sure like to see the 168.023 Seamaster re-issued with an up-to-date movement (METAS, quickset day and date, hacking seconds) and the case bumped up to 38mm.

36mm is fine with me. I also prefer dess watches that have no complication, i.e. no date.

Updated SMP 300m with MC caliber, solid Naiad case back, Liquidmetal inserts, redesign bezel font, redesign bracelet with adjustable clasp and price below 4.500€.

Honestly, with all the hopes and dreams in this thread, this, or something close to this seem the most realistic. It's the 70th anniversary of the Seamaster, so if we don't get an update to the Bond, I'd expect something sort of along the lines of the Venezia that pays homage to the OG Seamaster from 1948. Also heard from a pretty reputable AD that the 300 was due for a revision (MC caliber, Naiad, etc.).

Agreed that the Diver 300M is due for a revision, if they want to pursue it. In the meantime, I've fallen in love with the pictures of the Edizione Venezia ...

I'd love to see a racing dial c.1861 like Tintin (2013) or Japan LE (2004) being released as a true limited edition. I sincerely love what they did to the co-axial line up in this year's Basel. Haven't held one in flesh but they look slim and sporty. Amplifying the element of 'speed' in Speedmaster.

The new SS Racing Speedy with the creamy/white dial and black accents is out of this world beautiful. I held one at my AD it is stopped me in my tracks.

I would really like to see more of a matte finish to the dials. The sapphires used are very clear and I get a lot of reflection. The only detractor I have on my POC is how shiny the dial is

A Speedmaster Professional with a dial in British Racing green with white sub dials.

The case should be the normal Speedy case, but an all brushed one would be OK too.

The tip of the chrono seconds hand should be red.

I would like to see a reduce size in width and thickness for the ceramic PO and Speedmaster line.

I wish that they bring out nothing in 2018 that interests me in the slightest as I want to save my pennies for the Apollo 11 50th Anniversary Speedmaster they will announce in 2019 (and I hope that it’s as worthy a watch as the 60th Anniversary Speedmaster is).

I'm with you on this!

I have a two watch rotation: my Omega Speedmaster Co-Axial and a Rolex GMT Master II "Pepsi." The Rolex wears so much thinner than the Speedy. I love the big bold face of the Speedmaster but I just wish it wore a little slimmer. I'd love even a replacement case back that was all metal and shaved a millimeter or two off the overall thickness. I love the diameter of the watch. I love everything about it - except that glass bubble back.

The 70s inspired models for GO and Seiko have been well-received, so now may be a good time for a Dynamic of Cosmic reintroduction.

Whatever, as long as it comes with a 60 minutes bezel instead of Tachymètre ( as they did in 1966 with SeaMaster 300 )
.
