You lucky duck!!! I was getting ready for the opening bell --- 0600 California time -- and realized when I woke up this past Sunday, my weary eyes were reading 0730!!! Damn - rolled over and slept until 0900. I guess I'll have to wait until next time to order my Everest Expedition or possibly the PRS-25AM. I really wish he had more help and you could more than once every few months --- but I totally understand his circumstance.

Sorry - this was third time lucky for me and I had an alarm set, too - but at least it was 1400 for me! It’s a lovely watch and worth hanging out for. Especially at that price point. I did feel like it needed a better leather strap, though - not sure I’ll ever wear it on the bracelet.

Bought in March during the lockdown, I’m finally able to enjoy this Connie bought from @eugeneandresson after sourcing a link to extend the bracelet and having my watchmaker to revive end links and bracelet. Very happy with this!!!

This just came in, an “or best offer” special. I think we probably all have at least one of these, you make a lowball offer that you don’t think has a chance and BAM, you now own another watch! 😉

Nice Elgin chrono, gold plating is really solid with just a touch of wear to the pushers. Not polished, solid dial with only one tiny spot of instability, chronos snap back sharply, the Valjoux 7733 is clean and running strong, all in all a solid watch. I’m not really a gold watch guy but at under $300 I’ll find a spot for it. 😀

Forgive me, for I have sinned.
I didn't really buy this watch, it was gifted to me from my brother -- not enough wrist time for him. A beautiful Smiths Everest PRS-25 40mm. I have lusted over this watch for a while, and he knew it. It wears boldly on the wrist and looks larger than my Speedmaster 145 - but I love it.

It's a 40mm. I think my telephoto lense might not be doing it justice in that last photo. On my 6.45-7in wrist it wears great, about the same as my moonwatch which I'd say wears like a 40mm.
