I've long considered a Navitimer as an iconic chronograph and a watch collection must-have so when my beloved Reds won the Premier League title, I figured I'd swoop on this one....

That's a very cool one. Man I bet it's striking in person.

This just in this morning.

Sold as working (it is) with original strap and yes it's an original but not to this watch. Original Omega strap and buckle! You can just make out the Omega text on the strap!

Roamer from the late 50's very early 60's with a Roamer MST452 movement which is based on the Felsa 4007N movement with extensive refinishing from Roamer. Pretty rare to find one of these ( I have 3 now) 35mm case.

Now at my WM to see if it's possible to revive the original glass ( unlikely as lots of subsurface micro faults) will post a pic later when done.

I purchased the newly released Burgundy Tudor Black Bay 58 last week from my AD. This is my second Tudor, the first is my Harrods Edition. I never thought I would buy a burgundy/red wrist watch, but I fell in love with this beauty. The five link bracelet and a 39mm case with a thickness of 11.7mm makes this timepiece extremely comfortable. It's a very classy tool watch.

I joined recently after buying my Speedmaster moonwatch. I like this watch enough that I am beginning to look for a moonwatch in white.

I was on the Oasis in May. I walked by the high end store every day. They had the moonwatch on display. I spoke with a salesman and was querying about a discount. On the last night, we went in. We talked about the watch and whether I would like the sapphire or hesalite crystal. I ended up buying (last day the watch was 7,000$ as Omega raised prices) with a 2% discount and a little bit ($6,800 total). I wear this to church or dinner. Can't wait to wear it on a cruise. I like it better than my Rolex. This is my second Omega. I bought a Deville quartz several years ago from a jewelry store that was going out of business. I am not really a watch collector, though I own a Rolex (Oyster Perpetual with date just, white gold bezel and jubilee band), a Baume and Mercier Classima gold automatic (bought in 2009), a Longines Master Collection Chrono Moonphase (I don't know the size, but would guess 42 mm, and I am sending it out for servicing as something is now quite right after it fell on the tile floor), and 4 Raymond Weil, including the Freelancer GMT Worldtimer that I purchased in Saint Martins. I tend to buy those watches that catch my eye.

Anyway, I like the speedy. I'm retired so hoping I can find reasons to wear it. All my watches look brand new. I don't hardly wear them. (I just bought two Mozley winders, if these are any good, I will buy 3 or 4 more so I can keep my watches working.

Oh, and I bought the hesalite with the embossed case back.

I just got my Omega Seamaster 300M Diver 75th Aniversary Edition aka Summer Blue Edition. I love it, the way the light reflects of the dial and the changes of the color.

I picked up my newest acquisition today. It involved driving to Paris early this morning to catch a flight to Manchester, then a train ride to Bolton, followed by another one to Darwen. I'm now back home, having done this little trip in reverse. But since I've been wanting one of these for almost 2 decades, it was definitely worth it!

Say hello to the Tutima Commando II, Tutima's answer to Sinn's EZM1. And the latter was replaced by a version of the former at the wrists of German ZUZ commandos.

Just snatched this 25 Jewel A. Shild AS1886 movement off of eBay yesterday, brand new (NOS).

I need some bits out of it to get my Titoni Space King 999 repaired and serviced though my Titoni has an AS1896 movement it's all the same base calibre so I should be good for compatibility.

The organ donor

The recipient

By the time this all is completed, and it's already been at my WM for more than a year waiting on parts it will have cost me far more than it's value and I still have yet to find a period Titoni bracelet to go with it or even a modern Titoni bracelet.
Some restorations can be a big black monetary hole! But this one has been bugging me a lot as I have been building a collection of Titoni iconic vintage pieces from the late 50's to late 60's. There are one or 2 different ones I could collect from that period but am satisfied with what I have which to me were the must haves.

Giving the MoonSwatch another try, bought the Neptune last weekend
My daughter is going to Vegas. I asked her to buy the Saturn watch. I like the planet at the 6 o’clock position.
