A bit drunk, sweaty, lost and generally pissed off about the hell hole that is Las Vegas, I found my self in an Swatch shop.
Why the blue Neptune? I have no idea.

I asked my daughter, who is in Vegas right now, if she could stop at the swatch shop and buy me a Saturn watch.

How is the case? I understand plastic and ceramic. Does it feel cheap or is it pretty solid? The watches, at least from photos, look amazing.

It looks well made. The case feels solid like hard plastic, I cant scratch it with my nail. There is no flash and its very light. The strap is ackward and stiff, but looks good. Sales rep promised free battery change, I dont know how that works as the nearest Swatch shop is two hours flight from Norway.

I have not worn it much, it takes a lot to take the place of my Seamaster. And an overly expensive toy like this dont have it.

You could wear it into areas you may not want to go with your Speedie. Although, I don't know about currently, Norway is relatively safe. I would wear the Swatch if walking in downtown DC. I'm generally safe enough in my area, though I don't wear my Rolex much after seeing people get robbed while eating dinner (mostly in SF and LA).

Must be tough not wearing any of your nice watches in fear of getting mugged everywhere you go.

Oh, I wear my watches when I go out, just careful where I wear the Rolex. It is shiny and i think crooks are drawn to that... haha. I also wear them on every cruise (I have been taking a lot of cruises, 3 already this year, 1 to go and 2 scheduled for next year). I bought a 3-watch travel case for my upcoming Riverboat cruise, going to take the speedies and the Rolex. I used to wear the Rolex to work in 2020, but Covid hit, DC released a lot of criminals on the streets and I worked from home. I don't know if you realize, but DC is a swamp. High crime, though I suppose NY, SF and LA may be higher. I just try to follow situational awareness. I'm insured regardless. I like wearing the Speedy though, maybe more so than the Rolex. I wear one of them to church or dining out. Not much reason to wear one at home though and I'm home a lot as I'm retired.

I have a day just. Stainless steel, white gold bezel, jubilee band and a blue dial. It is really a very nice watch. I have always wanted one since I was maybe 20. I worked my way up, Raymond Weils, Baume and Mercier, Longines. Finally at 59 years old I pulled the trigger. Actually wish I got the model without the gold bezel. A little bit scared to bang it. Haha. It is a nice watch.

This just in this morning.

Sold as working (it is) with original strap and yes it's an original but not to this watch. Original Omega strap and buckle! You can just make out the Omega text on the strap!

Roamer from the late 50's very early 60's with a Roamer MST452 movement which is based on the Felsa 4007N movement with extensive refinishing from Roamer. Pretty rare to find one of these ( I have 3 now) 35mm case.

Now at my WM to see if it's possible to revive the original glass ( unlikely as lots of subsurface micro faults) will post a pic later when done.

Update to this one, just back from service and lens replacement.

Sure...
It's funny. I put my Speedies in the watch winder and they still lose power... maybe I need to bump up to 1000 turns an hour.
