Incoming, this wonderful coat-hanger-s waffle dial 2577 - very excited!

It arrived, and it surpasses all my expectations. Fantastic watch.
Don't mind the text inclarities, this is due to slight scratches on the crystal. The dial itself is mint. I will not polish the crystal it but keep as is.
I have a 1502 BoR with slide-clasp on the way for it.

Thanks! 6106-8120. Someone more knowledgeable may correct me, but I believe this is the first Seiko 5 Sports model to be released.

This was a very odd acquisition. Invicta (hear me out) Ocean Ghost ref ILE0620031, 43mm sub-style case, Valjoux 27659 Elabore movement, 18k solid bezel insert, 18k solid midlinks, and a beautifully textured dial.

thrift shop pick up for $40

Another Seiko 5126.... I don't even usually wear time-only watches in but I impulse bought it because I liked the bracelet... 🤨

1979 Prince Oysterdate 90510 on 7835B Tudor bracelet. Had been put off by it's diminutive 34mm size for years, but finally said "F-it" and pulled the trigger. It's really nice on-wrist, despite being smaller than anything I wear.

This in today after a hard fought auction, 157 bids later it was mine, the other serious bidder a well known Roamer enthusiast.

I can well understand the desire for this example with it's unusual and rare dial configuration, separate outer chapter ring having no minute track only the lume dots with it's PM ( promethium) marking on it.

The minute track resides on the dial which I presume is a predecessor of the later no outer separate minute track which Roamer switched to on its later watches, sort of a crossover in design.

Also unusual is the cross hair dial with the cross hair being machined into the surface of the dial not printed on hence it's shiny bright metal appearance.

Original crown and RW marked lens though it needs further work to bring it back to an acceptable standard not just my brief Autosol metal polish of it.

The watch itself is in lovely running condition with no rattles from the oscillating weight but the movement is in desperate need of a service running about 600 secs a day slow!

Unpolished case and original expander bracelet ( well, installed sometime in the 60's).

Also have an unusual Roamer Stingray MST471 in a large square case with chocolate brown dial and Roman numerals coming in later this week, photos later when in my hands again.

Roamer 44 jewel MST437

As always happens this looks wonderful in the flesh on the wrist but my photos look very poor under the harsh lighting.

As arrived

Update to above new acquisition.
Gave the watch a partial wind before bed, still running the next morning so I thought why not check it's daily rate again ( it had been 600+ seconds slow in positions on first receiving it ) and was astonished to see the below result.
A real tribute to these amazing 44 jewel moments and Roamers attention to these top of the line watches.
Needless to say it won't be run again until it gets serviced which is undoubtedly decades overdue.

Another Roamer as mentioned above in today, from a fellow collector.

Missing the Crown and a little damage to the stem tube, luckily I have the correct new OEM crown and tube in stock, not in running condition.

The OEM lens might be recoverable as getting the correct new OEM lenses has become a very difficult task.

Very unusual chocolate dial and gold Roman numerals and minute track, all correct but just rare.

28 or 44 jewel movement but won't know till opened and repaired / serviced.

Early examples as this probably is maybe 44 but nonetheless an MST471 reference number mod 471-1230.600 Roamer Stingray.
