Todays buy is a vintage Zenith automatic with cal 2552.

 

Made an imprompt decision to give it to a young man who managed to make it to his top secondary school choice here in Singapore as a Christmas gift, so sorry I won't have a wrist shot for this. May be when the young man is older (11year old now with a 62 year old watch, I think I am making his life a bit more difficult )

Not a purchase but an arrival

Without wanting to sound as if i'm at an Oscar ceremony I must thank a very good friend on this forum for making the introduction that led to this purchase and of course to my current wife and daughters for contributing to the funds.

IWC calibre 89 dating to 1952. Couldn't be happier and I hope "Santa" is as good to all of you guys.

 

Cufflinks arrived today, can't wait to try them on tomorrow!
