That's a beautiful early version of a "de luxe" in nice collector condition. I'm guessing yours is 1952ish. These watches are incredibly sturdy and can be worn daily. Very easy to regulate to a second or two a day. (((Love))) that perfectly patinated dial. Here's one of "mines", 'yo ...

Sturdy every day watch is exactly what I am looking for, will add more photos once it arrives.

Let's see..... in the last few days we've been to Hill Family Estate where we met the 4th generation of the family run business and bought a bottle of their '12 Double Barrel limited Cab. Then we went to Arrowood and met a few people including the production manager. We tasted about a dozen different vintages of their Cab plus a few others. Picked up 4 bottles of riesling ('06 and '09) for Windy and 8 bottles of their '03 Monte Rosso Cab. It was a fun and educational day. Now I gotta add a couple rows to my rack.

Ooooh very nice. I tried to nab this, but you beat me to the punch. Nice pick up. Looking forward to seeing a wrist shot 馃榾

I will replace the pad, as it is quite worn. The gun bears some marks from use, but bar an issue with the soldering on the rail, it is a very honest example. Curiously, it is the first SKB I've handled where the stock has a size appropiate for an European. Most of them have ridiculously short stocks.

Picked up a flightmaster 145.026 for repair with heaps of spare parts. Also there appears to be some 321 movement parts in there too 馃榾

Should keep me busy over Xmas 馃榿

Well, after having lost the battle with respect who gets to wear this one -I'm sure some of you have heard, "oh, that's nice one, can I wear it?" Fast forward a few weeks followed by "the strap is too long, can you get a shorter one that fits me better ......." Here you go, this was today's purchase, a short length de Beer lizard strap... :-/
