This came on a wrong sized ratty strap with what I believe to be a wrong era buckle

Put on an appropriate sized Hirsch Regent crocodile strap and it looks fantastic!::love::

With help from OF I'm very pleased with my first Zenith! And after a service I see this getting a lot of wrist time.
    Merry Chriatmas all!

Yes I was pleasantly suprised. It is in need of a service and maybe a new crystal but it does look better now that I have it in my hot little hands. It was a little dirty, all I did was clean it up a little and polywatch the crystal and remove the ratty strap that was on it. Thanks for posting this Lou, I'm loving it!

Thanks for the compliment, this is the second watch I've purchased from the recommended threads in the last few months. I picked up my Polerouter a few months ago from the recommended UG thread. Right place at the right time I guess.:)

That's one of the great truths in watch collecting, it really does.

Not sure. Kind of hard to find info on it online. It came to me by way of my local watchmaker from one of his collector clients, so it should be all correct.

PO 8500 42 mm. Decided to bite the bullet after all. I should get it tomorrow or monday depending on shipping. I was going for the Liquid metal LE, but after seeing both in person the LM has only the thickness of the 2500 movement going for it, and I think I can leave with the thickness of the new model and save myself a few grand. I have a 45.5 mm PO already that I will probably sell...or keep for when I'm feeling insecure at the beach ;)
