This model is referred to as a "Big Eye." Can anyone tell me why?

Large subdials

1972 Constellation f300 198.002. Big thanks to @omegaswisst for the smooth and congenial sale. Stay safe down under my friend!

Loving the condition, legibility, smooth sweep and especially the hum.

Makes a great addition my budding Omega collection - six and counting and all getting good wrist time...

And with my thanks to JiminOz for deciphering the Da Vinci Code of military watch case numerals.

I've been looking for one of these for years but they always seemed to elude me or be priced too high. Always a sucker for reverse panda tricompax.

Nice! I love my Sinn, but their dials are often very busy. This is a refreshingly symmetrical design. Except for that pesky date window, of course.

At least they color matched it to the dial, but I agree with you.

I think your date wheel is tasteful and useful!

Sorry, I didn't mean to sound snarky about the date wheel! I'm a fan of Sinn and this is a really fun model.

It disappears enough into the dial to me for the dial symmetry to not be ruined.

You’re comment was great and not snarky at all! I love Sinn and have an 856 UTC and 142 D1. They all have date wheels, but the Klassik seems a little less obvious to me.

Swopped for a Tissot navigator with a watch trader on Sunday morning, and totally different from my usual watch purchases ,but it caught my eye & had to have it .Did no research previously ( I usually research a watch I like to within a mm of its life ) & wasn’t even looking for one but it just has a certain appeal that I like . And so far all is good & keeping excellent time .

Trying out this Steinhart GMT, it is the 39mm version with black ceramic bezel. So far I like it, but the gmt bezel is hard for me to read in certain light. Not an Omega or Rolex for sure but for the price ($350) I like it as a traveler.

I fully understand. Almost none of my watches have numerals but I saw someone wearing a W10 Hamilton and have been looking and looking and finally dived into an eBay auction for the (almost identical) CWC I’ve posted above. Really easy to wear, set and read! I’m sure you’ll enjoy your Hamilton as much as I’m enjoying my CWC.
