Picked up this Breitling Ref. 806 1959 re-edition in St. Maarten a couple of weeks ago. A really good reissue of the classic Navitimer. Breitling really stuck to the basics here replicating the original as closely as possible with a manual wind movement and solid back, 1959 pieces total.
I got mine in December and have since put it on a Breitling deployment

C-case out of Japan. Will need a service and a proper strap but otherwise a nice find. Sideways photo courtesy of iphone and my incompetence.

I bought another oddball watch:

It's got a few dings, but I got a good deal.

Well certainly not the most expensive watch , but it caught my eye as It’s British . A typical watch from seventies with big dimensions for age ( 36 x 37 mm w/out crown ) equipped with a Swiss movt. BFG 866. Clearly it’s been used but in good order . Very happy to add it to my family

Never seen a watch like yours

It was an eccentric piece designed for free diving. It's got 7 disks that turn red and then back to black over a 14-minute interval, and is designed to help you tell elapsed time at a glance. More info here.

I'm training for powerlifting, and my rest breaks are usually in the 3-8 minute range, so I thought this would be a fun way to keep track of time at the gym. Was tired of squinting at the dial on my Glycine Sub, trying to remember how long I'd been resting.

It's quite a tank of a watch, and was never very popular, so it is easy to snag relatively cheaply for a modern Omega dive watch. On the plus side, NO HE VALVE!

Seamaster Cosmic 166.036 with a 752 movement and nice BOR bracelet, fresh out the mailbox from Oz. I forgot that eBay was charging sales tax now when I bought this, so it went from a great deal to just OK. But it looks fantastic in the metal. Super clean and crispy with an unusual silver grey dial. So happy with it!

A Harman chronograph came in the mail today. I love it! This model is referred to as a "Big Eye." Can anyone tell me why? Thanks in advance!
