I picked up this mid 50's bumper about 4 months ago and had it serviced immediately but only recently picked up a strap for it.
I'm new to this but from what I can tell it has a 355 movement and was well cared for.
I bought it off of a buddy after his father passed away. His father was the original owner and seems to have taken good care of this, and another watch I got off of him (a Hamilton pocket watch with unique hands)
The picture of the movement was taken before it was serviced.

It's keeping good time and feels great on my wrist, I'm very happy with it 馃榾

Seamaster 50th GMT. This wasn't at the top of my list, but I saw it for a very decent price and made a bit of an impulse buy.

And another impulse buy came in the mail today. Two in one week. Gotta take a break for like 6 months and let my budget recuperate now.

Just received this Omega 17-jewel hand-winding movement, calibre 625, which is is clean and seems to be working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number, 39,637,029, dates it back to around 1975.

The watch is only 26mm and high excluding the lugs. The case is gold 20Mu plated and it is in lovely condition. The stainless steel case back is signed to the inside with the Omega logo and the case reference 511.415 which is correct for the calibre 625. The winding crown has the Omega logo and the signed dial is in good condition IMO.
The lens is the original with a couple of light scratches but not overly noticeable to the naked eye.Im sure I can polish out.
Although the buckle is an Omega buckle it鈥檚 not original as it鈥檚 16mm in size which is the same as the strap.

Both arrived while I was in vacation:

A technical dial 135.011, I was after one for some time now

A SM120 I received last wednesday; I really wanted to hold one in my hands. Not a huge fan of the case shape, but this one is still fresh, apart from some crystal scratches, so it looks really good. I'll see if it stays...

Just ordered an SKX013K2 from skywatches.com.sg as they've just been discontinued and I always wanted one! Can't wait to get it and mod it to this: what do you think about the watermelon combo?
PS sorry for the bad photoshop 馃槈

A Tissot Visodate with a Honeycomb dial and a Roulette Date. I sadly have a very limited knowledge about vintage Tissot.

Happy to hear that, I like them from the way they are build. But I lack any background on how their quality is.馃憤

Nice watch; get it serviced, you'll be fine. These '50s models are robust. I have a few 馃榾

I stopped at my local St Vincent De Paul thrift store and picked this up for $20.
It seems to run well and is in very good condition.
I know it's not a luxury brand but it appealed to me & it was cheap so I picked it up 馃榾
