Thanks to a very esteemed OF member and genuinely great guy; this 145.022-68 landed on my wrist.

Excuse the poor picture, better ones will follow.

Picked up this week.
Anyone know how to find out, if it's the 2500C or D movement?
Sold new in middle of 2009.

I was thrilled when Omega announced its 1957 Trilogy 60th Anniversary collection. After debating between the Speedmaster and the Seamaster 300, I decided to pull the trigger on the Speedmaster. Well, today, I decided to throw in the towel and take the plunge on the Seamaster 300:

I've been amazed that these and the Railmasters are still available. In this year alone, I’ve seen about a dozen Seamaster 300’s at multiple ADs across the US.

I'm a big fan of this current trend on re-issues, especially those pieces that pay tribute to dive and pilot watches. This one has been tugging at my heart for a while. I love the Omega symbol on the domed sapphire crystal.

Impressive lume:

Yet another broken watch. There were three up for auction at the weekend, this was by far and away the best one. Issues: broken plexi and a broken mainspring; pluses: everything else - brilliant dial; very good case; movement's untouched and been thrown in a drawer since it stopped winding. It needs £1-200 putting into it to return a near perfect W10.

Farer Leven Aqua Compressor, 1 of 250. considering what I paid for it on the Bay, I am over the moon with the quality of this watch!

Picked up this old dress watch the other day as I’m a sucker for a sub dial . It’s an accurist 21 jewel Swiss hand wind movement , Mu 10 gold plated. Circa 1970,s . Just finished cleaning it so thought I’d post . It’s been running for 20+ hrs now against my Seiko X and it’s spot on .

Nice looking watch and movement. Like the fact that the movement is both signed and attractive. Good to hear that it’s got a good power reserve and is accurate. Many of these 'lower end' watches are still out there at very reasonable prices.

You can submit a request through the OMEGA website. I’ve done this for my SMPc and Planet Ocean and received answers within a week. Looking at yours, the “1” that is visible in the date window appears to lack serifs and is therefore likely a 2500C.

Yes , those 60’s 70’s high street brand watches do offer great value and provided as much enjoyment.People often forget the makers history and their quality.

Just back home from Winchester where I collected my latest addition to my small collection which now numbers six watches. As some of you will know I have always been an admirer of Tudor watches and have long coveted the BB red with the ETA movement but never managed to get one.
Last April I was invited to a Tudor event and tried on the BB GMT and that was that. I put down a deposit and was told delivery would be March 2020, I didn’t mind waiting!
However last week I had an email to say my watch had arrived, somewhat early and today I picked it up.

You will notice I haven’t abandoned my allegiance to Omega, while I was at the jewellers I picked up the current edition of Lifetime magazine which I am passing the afternoon with in the garden.
I can see this GMT being my daily wearer for some time so be prepared to get bored with my posts on the WRUW thread! 🤦

New (to me) 552 cal.

That is a fine looking watch. One day, I may be brave enough to wear leather... I like the contrast of gold and black leather.

That’s really nice
I love the white dial Speedmasters. Not enough many of them, it appears. But I do love my 3575.20, pictures will come later...
