Very nice dial with great looking set of hands, and that ghost DON. And the original “odd” 10degree brushing on the case found around the 29.6’s also.
I tried one of these on today. If you don't mind me asking, what size wrist are you? I'm trying to decide how big or small to go.
Accurist Schockmaster, crazy spelling but the 1970s were crazy times. Went to a auction to purchase another watch but it looked very tired. Seen this looking very clean must have a sheltered life in the sock drawer, just needs a service and a new strap then good to go.
I picked up this Elgin Watch for $5. It runs and seems to keep time. Did I overpay? Sorry for the crummy photos.
Impulsively bought a vintage Omega recently, I was hoping someone could tell me how bad or good I did. It’s fully functional and recently serviced supposedly but don’t think it has any paperwork and seller doesn’t offer a warranty. I can still cancel so I’d really appreciate feedback. Spent 500. Cal. 1370 ~1978 quartz no model name on watch. Couldn’t find a similar watch for sale online in similar condition. I’m alright if I overspent a little.
I love vintage omegas but I’d like to understand what I bought and if I made a poor or wise choice. This is my first watch purchase. Gotta learn because I need to buy one in s/s
