Girard Perregaux 4946 eggshell dial. I already had the 4995 with black dial and liked it so much that I had to find a white dial version. On the wrist the eggshell is understated but looks classy with an vintage air. It comes into its own in photos.
The inhouse GP 3370 movement with 27 jewels, which for this pricepoint is nicely finished, plus Dubois De`praz modular chrono with 36 jewels for a total of 63 !
Considering the price point the finishing is excellent. Depreciation from new has been large but a good buy used if you can find them.
This is a very attractive daily beater imho with classic lines and a vintage feel.From what I can gather only about 500 made in this configuration pus 500 with black dial.
I cannot decide which I prefer, let me know your preference.
The date window is not so conspicuous on the eggshell dial which is a plus.

70s Lip Geneve with R161 movement (Peseux 7000).

I can't decide if it's too small on the wrist tho. Dial is really crisp.

NOS Waltham with box and tag. I think I'll swap out the expansion bracelet ASAP. Why they were so popular is beyond me, uncomfortable.

Cool watch. I still have my father's '68 Waltham.
That bracelet is very unusual. Love it!

Another Gallet inbound. This one a 14k gold Multichron 12 from 1967 (dated inscription on the back). EP 40-68 movement.

I think I have a bit of a Gallet problem.
