Another busted ass watch ...

It is soooo shiny, though! Balance is intact; movement's seized but nothing glaringly wrong; the interesting thing is that it's a 12ct gold case. Only 31mm, but I'm seeing a number of trench watches of this size selling to the US - perhaps they're coming into fashion again? I've sold three in the last three weeks. I also overpaid for it.

Still, I underpaid for these ...

which couldn't be more Deco if they'd tried. Swings and rounabouts. All told, I'm happy with them both. Not sure my watchmaker will be.

Swatch. Not for me but for my 5 years old girl. She loves it already 😁 She also wanted a Nomos with a red dial but that will have to wait.

I love the NATO. Tell us more . .
This is a little project that i have been producing. I wanted to have my own NATOS because I found there was still room for improvement. It will go live pretty soon. I am waiting on the last pictures of my photographer. Then I will send a press release. I am not telling more since I guess it conflicts with the forum rules

Picked this up on my birthday last week (huge thanks to Mrs. Markthetime! 🥰 ). Getting the “stink eye” as a result from nearly every other vintage and modern watch in my collection, as they are worried they’ll see a significant decrease in wrist time as a result.... 😀

I just bought my first vintage KonTiki. The guy was asking $475, I paid $350. The case and dial both look good to me, the medallion has a bit of wear but all the balls are still there, the movement looks dirty but I doubt it needs anything beyond a good cleaning. These are the seller's photos.

This one's not just busted but missing a fair few (vital) parts ... but, damn!

Nice Mk I...that's going to be some challenge to get it back to original spec! I had a Mk II for a while, fantastic watches!

I had posted this in the UG sub-forum but not here - an uncommon oversized Universal Geneve Dato-Compax with a sharp case and patina.

Taking a closer look at it ... not much is missing at all. I've had worse that have turned out great and I have high hopes for this one. Still, if you see me begging in the "WTB" boards over the coming weeks and months, don't laugh!
