Just purchased this Adanac Navigator for a reasonable price, the seller accepted my offer it was on eBay for less than 1-day. It'll scratch the Benrus Type II itch for now...

Oh I also picked up this Hamilton WW-G-113 born in April 1979. If only it was 1980 then it could be my real birthday watch, but 1-year off (same month) will do for now! These are my first mil spec watches, looking forward to collecting more

Today a great Heuer 2447 from the late 40s came in. Case is 38mm and srew back. Powered by the famous V72. Black gilt dial with radium markers. Pic is from the seller and I will sent my own tomorrow.

Received my watch box from Molequin today. It feels and look amazing. The leather is really soft and a nice colour (I ordered the khaki version).

The size is also nice and seems pretty good for travelling. The only thing I would like is an extra keeper for the watches if you open it upside down and the watches fall out 😲

Gets my warm recommendation (whatever that is worth)

Spare parts too? My watchmaker was just getting a new dial and hands for my Zenith de Luca. I bought the watch with wrong parts, but now it's on its way back to originality:

It was sold in this condition:

Seller told me, it should be the 01.0043.400 (2) series with plexi and mecedes hands. This exists in real, but minute hand is 100% wrong and dial should not include the word "Chronograph".

Investigations with Mr. Rössler and Zenith revealed that it really must be a Series 1. Therefore, I accepted the friendly offer from Zenith to sell me these original parts. My special thanks go to Mr. Rössler!

Not a watch but a case back.

Too good an opportunity to pass by, or a completely bonkers waste of money? My wife will definitely go with the latter but I couldn't resist the opportunity to replace my scratched and polished case back, especially seeing as it's the correct ref for the strapper case version(unlikely I'll ever see another).

Looks nice. Are you nervous about the bracelet rattling around and scratching?

Seems perfectly rational to me! Nice find.

Poor lighting for the photos but this is just a cracking 2577-1, circa 1950 ... I love it but I fear others will too and I'll not get to keep it long ...
