I still can't pass by a pretty little chronograph. This one's a no-name salmon dialed piece. The dial's lovely; case has a few nicks; the Venus 170's a bit sticky. It's due a full service and we'll see what we can do for the case. 32mm without crown: Then, yet another Longines. This is an Ultra Chron, circa 1967 with a 36000bhp hi-beat cal 6942. Cracking condition and an interesting watch. Applied logo and indices along with the bespoke Ultra Chron symbol at the 6 o clock. Measures 38mm (without crown) by 44:
My first display back, a Victorinox Field watch, reference 24695. Used, shows some wear and not cleaned yet, but just a C-note U. S. McK
Got this yesterday. And yes, it has an hour hand Perhaps not the coolast piece but I fel for the dial, indices and case Edit: In a sence it reminds a bit about a connie with edgy case design, sunburst dial and high indices? (today's watch)
This hummer arrived yesterday, at once doubling my Omega collection. Haven't looked inside yet but it runs perfectly.
Luminox 8800 Series, ultra-lightweight, which I think compliments my white dial steel-cased Colormark 3157 model.
Not exactly "bought" today but "assembled" today. I bought a while ago a 1969 Mark II Speedy in a modern Speedy pro case. After changing the dial, hands, crystal and gasket, here we go !
After many leather straps that I just think didn't look right, I bought a beads of rice bracelet for my railtrack constellation. According to Desmond, the 56X calibers were probably the first Constellations to have the BoR bracelet available, while the flat link 7077 are also correct for these. *Correct = Available to purchase at time of sale.
