Another 30L joining the stable. Ref. 7402, probably sent to Sweden or Norway in 1965-1966. “Needed” an example that wasn’t cased in gold.

New arrival Memovox, really loving the case design. I haven’t really seen this dial variation on this case, so I’m not 100% sure. But then again that’s why I went for it, since the dial really caught my eye.

Also not sure if these Lecoultres ever came with unsigned crowns?

My LeCoultre Wrist Alarm has got unsigned crowns, but it is an earlier cal. 814 model I believe.

I am not sure if the dial on yours has been refinished, but those incredible 1-12 markers are correct, that's for sure! Fantastic look and the case is great too

Thanks! This one's got the K814 movement, and I think the movement serial indicates around 1967 or so production date. Will keep searching for a similar dial and case to see if unsigned crowns could be correct for this model.

I joined the bandwagon of Seiko Turtle fans this week when I bought special edition Pepsi Turtle watch. It has heft quality and satisfaction of wearing a Pepsi bezel watch without wasting life waiting for my turn for Rolex Pepsi!!

I didn't buy it because it was Swiss made, which it is.
I didn't buy it for the reputation or the long horological history of its manufacturer -- I'd never heard of the brand before.
I didn't buy it because it has twenty-seven jewels, which it hasn't -- it's about twenty jewels short.
I didn't buy it because it is a chronograph, which it isn't, though it sort of looks like one -- it's more of a glorified stop watch.
I didn't buy it because it keeps great time -- though it has only lost a little less than a minute in the last 2-3 days.
I didn't buy it as a restoration project -- though it needs a sub-dial and the world time bezel it originally was equipped with.
No, I bought it for its case back.....because I am a motorhead, or petrolhead as they say on the other side of The Pond.
