Not exactly "bought" today but "assembled" today.
I bought a while ago a 1969 Mark II Speedy in a modern Speedy pro case.
After changing the dial, hands, crystal and gasket, here we go !

Well I鈥檝e have circumed and purchased my first Son if Rolex a Tudor Heritage chrono. I鈥檝e been looking at dipping my toes into Tudor鈥檚 since Baselworld and have got a pepsi GMT on order but still no dateI saw this chrono model a few months ago in an AD reduced price promotion but when I made my mind up . It had gone but to my surprise visiting my daughter earlier on the week her local AD had it on sale at under 拢2,500 with the VAT off bargin at just over 拢2k or $2600 ! It鈥檚 a 42mm Cal 2892 black grey chrono, sapphire glass steel folding clasp with a spare fabric strap etc . It comes in a laquerd piano box with a nice leather holder. Beat what Rolex provides hands down.oh and the Crown and pushers look great. One of the reasons for purchasing it was the unusual 45min totaliser , great for footy matches and of course the price . I think it will become one of my every day wears .
Just put a deposit down on the same model, my first modern watch for a very long time. The price and design made it a very easy decision though. More pics when I actually get it!
Good choice while it鈥檚 like any other chrono , there are some good differences and it wears great on the wrist
