And now for something of an oddball.
Waltham Premier, with Lemania cal 3060 - high grade finish -23jewels version!

No knowledge of Waltham, other that they used to make some nice watches....
Anyone with some info on the collaboration between Waltham and Lemania, please feel free to chime in

This one is from 1961-63, is actually "all Lemania", with Lemania case ref and movement, but with a finishing I have not seen on Lemania cal 30xx movements before. Also rare size at 38mm wo crown.

Come to daddy.......🥰🥰🥰

Thanks to @tomvox1 I’m enjoying my newest “Sinn.”

It must have a pretty good power reserve because it was set to the correct date and time right out of the FedEx box!

Or the FedEx workers were interested what was in the box and gave it a few shakes to see if they could guess. 😁

You couldn't have bought it from a finer gentleman! If there is a Great Sinn, there you have one. Enjoy!

On another note, courtesy of Scott @sjg22

So I'll be "beating around" with this and my SKX009. Inspired by @larryganz !

Here are some new shots of the 2782. Really happy camper (despite the heat index).

Nice. My beater SKX009 is from around 1996 and still looks great, other than very slight fading of the bezel.

Today is 1040's day.

Both were delivered today and I really like the 70's style of these watches.
The 176.010 has an issue in one of the registers so its overdue for service, the 176.007 purchased from an OF member (nice piece).

Just received a complete working Benrus ETA 900 movement with dial and hands identical to that of one of my older Benrus watches.
I picked it up as a backup in case this watch has more issues with setting the time. The old one has a worn out stem. I have replacement stems without crowns.
If I have to I can switch out movements till I repair the original movement.
I like the original movement. Its dead on to within a few seconds per week. I only re set it once every two or three weeks but setting it has become more difficult due to the messed up stem and I suspect debris in its channel.

If I get both movements working properly I'll keep my eye out for a watch of this type that is not working and have two of the same model. Very comfortable and efficient case design.

Quite while back I picked up a solid silver 18s pocket watch case that happened to have my initials engraved on the back... what are the odds, it was cheap so it came home.

Much later a nice frosted model 1883 Waltham movement made in the summer of 1888 turned up, inexpensive and running, with the case in mind that too was taken home. They're even about the same age!

more recently I was looking for books on a favorite watch parts website and decided to pick up a correct face and hands for that old model '83, this and the rest of the bits were shipped off for assembly.

I picked up the result from my watchmaker today, its not every day you can bring home a 130 year old piece with your initials on it.

I was watching one of these awhile back. If the bidding hadn't picked up I'd have bid on it. That example had a rather messed up crystal from an ill considered attempt at polishing away scratches. I could probably have polished it out properly but not worth risking the amount it finally went for. I expect a replacement crystal for one of these is as rare as hens teeth. Really beautiful though.
