Latest watch is a move away from vintage toward new. At least for now. It's simplicity and legibility is so very appealing to me.
A case for my WWW Buren: After a couple of hours of work and figuring out how to swap the crystal over (the donor case had a replacement high dome...) Ah thick and unpolished lugs, welcome home
2011 Jaeger Le Coultre Master Calendar NOS I was expecting this one today. I had been looking for this reference for a while now and found a NOS one last week. Timing could not be worse for me but, hey, what are the chances of finding one in NOS condition in SS these days? Triple calendar, power reserve, Master Control in house caliber, a beautifully balanced dial. A hell of a watch for the money I must say. I am truly delighted.
Just added this to my collection, a 145.022-74. Going to be fun looking for the correct bracelet (I believe both 1171 and 1175 bracelets are correct for this) and proper bezel for it
This one was purchased months ago and left with @Archer for a complete overhaul. I had the pleasure of picking it up today after Al addressed all of the age related repairs. Happy to have it working properly and ready to wear. I decided to put it on a Bund and the look works for me!
Cheers, I had my face mask and gloves on, the luminous dust was all over the dial (and I have no idea if it was radium or not...) Got to use some new tools so am doubly happy to get some learning experience :>
Well I have always been a fan of Seiko because of the great value they provide but always bought Automatics . Today I got my 1st kinetic! A BFK 200m divers on a black rubber strap & a 5M62 movement . It feels & looks great and I love it. A bargin IMO !
