Latest watch is a move away from vintage toward new. At least for now.
It's simplicity and legibility is so very appealing to me.

You read my mind Northernman. I was wondering what the building housed if it still existed and thought I'd have to find it online. Thanks much for the photos and the read.

Thanks for your compliments Flatfoot. Here's a link from Saturday's WRUW showing Lemania in the shade of a small pecan tree in the heat. I wore it all weekend and enjoyed it greatly, both around the house on Saturday and with a blazer and tie to church and then a 90th birthday party for a friend of my parents.

A case for my WWW Buren:

After a couple of hours of work and figuring out how to swap the crystal over (the donor case had a replacement high dome...)

Ah thick and unpolished lugs, welcome home 馃榾

2011 Jaeger Le Coultre Master Calendar NOS

I was expecting this one today. I had been looking for this reference for a while now and found a NOS one last week.

Timing could not be worse for me but, hey, what are the chances of finding one in NOS condition in SS these days?

Triple calendar, power reserve, Master Control in house caliber, a beautifully balanced dial. A hell of a watch for the money I must say.

I am truly delighted.

Just added this to my collection, a 145.022-74. Going to be fun looking for the correct bracelet (I believe both 1171 and 1175 bracelets are correct for this) and proper bezel for it 馃榾

This one was purchased months ago and left with @Archer for a complete overhaul. I had the pleasure of picking it up today after Al addressed all of the age related repairs. Happy to have it working properly and ready to wear. I decided to put it on a Bund and the look works for me!

Nicely done! Those thick, uncut lugs rock...

Cheers, I had my face mask and gloves on, the luminous dust was all over the dial (and I have no idea if it was radium or not...)

Got to use some new tools so am doubly happy to get some learning experience :>
