Parts shipment in!... multiple straps in croc and lizard (my personal favorites) but the best part is the hardware!
a new face and hands for the 1890s Waltham I'm assembling from bits and a face for the 1880s Elgin keywind (check it out... they were entirely hand painted in those days)... its so nice to be able to pick this up "off the shelf". I can buy an enamel face for a pre1900 American watch for under $30 any time I want... but just try to find one for my 40s Longines... it ain't fair!

Oh... and a new barrel and mainspring assembly for my Bulova 10BNCH... just in case!

Check out Colareb. A small family from Rome, Vera Palle, outstanding finishes and affordable prices.

I can confirm about this. I tried it out on a recent purchase, Excelsior Park chronograph: oustanding strap.

Went on a bit of a Seiko diver binge recently and bought these 2 new Prospex Solars to go with my original 6309-7049 that I recently put back into circulation. I bought the 6309 new for $195 when I went to university in 1978, had to sell my electric guitar to fund the purchase haha (since replaced with many more)! The new Prospex models are actually very nice tho' not mechanical, only available for domestic sale in Japan (bought online from Seiyajapan.com, great resource). On left is an SBDL051 PADI Limited Edition (700 produced), on the right an SBDJ017.

...the Seikos are itch-scratchers while I wait for my brother to deliver this GMT I bought from him (supposed to arrive later this week, maybe I shouldn't jinx it haha!). My brother and I have bought a few Rolexes over the years but the last ones were Coke GMT II's in '86...paid CAD $1600 at the time, wore them for a few years then sold for less than what we paid (and had trouble doing it as I recall, no takers for the $1500 ask!!!). Wish I hadn't been broke at the time, they'd pay off my mortgage now 😉 The only reason I bought this is he gave me a deal and I could make $ on it the next day if I wanted. I have a love-hate relationship with Rolex so time will tell (sorry couldn't resist).

A minor addition. picked this one up for $5 with free shipping as a non working parts or repair deal. i liked the dial and markers. figured it worth a gamble.
Moment I popped open the back the watch began running on its own.
it will get a good cleaning and oiling in the near future. Plating is better than it looks. just a lot of grime on it.

PS
The second hand is there it had just stopped in line with the minute hand.

A Mitsukoshi panda dial and silver hands. Now, all I need is the watch.

Just received this 1960 Enicar Sherpa date in the mail. Pretty sure that's not the right crown though, anyone recognise it?

Just ordered one of these for the watch build I mentioned some months ago.

The NOS case I have has a 26.2 maximum internal diameter and the positioning ring has a 24+mm internal diameter which matches the external diameter of the NOS movement I obtained.
The dial is a 24.4 external diameter which would allow a bit of slack , perhaps more than necessary, but I could not find a suitable unbranded 26mm or 25mm dial anywhere.
No way of knowing if the feet are in the right position till I try it, but feet can be replaced.

The dial is said to come from the Hamilton Company, some old stock parts perhaps from a military contract. They state that the Lume still has some life left in it.
The price was pretty cheap considering, $3.00 with $2.75 shipping.
There's no date window but I should be able to drill and file that out myself.

I just got this black Lemania today and I think it's worth sharing. I'm really trying to save the stash for something incoming but as many times before I just had to grab this piece😁.
Anyhow, I think that the dial is very interesting. It is so hard to take a good photo but I hope you can see it. It is some sort of the two tone dial with textured edge. (maybe there is a name for this type of dials). It is patinated but just in the way I like it. You can see it in the sunlight photo.

It looks like the minute index lume plots have been relumed at some point. The tiny second index dots are actually made of "gold". As you can notice, I'm just amazed by the detail level of this dial 😀.

The case is roségold on steel and it looks very much like my Omega Constellation (2782) from 1954. Unfortunately the crown is not original and the crystal also looks too new to be original.
The inside looks pretty fresh and the caliber 3000 seems to keep the time so far so all in all I'm quite happy with my new Lemania 👍

Does anyone knows where to find the serial number table for Lemania movements?

I hope you enjoy the photos.

Looks like a vintage Invicta crown.
