I cannot help it but those Seikos are just knocking on my door and I keep on granting asylum.

I'm happy to help, if you run out of space.

And I鈥檓 blaming all of you!
Please tell me this is a Speedy bezel and not a Compax bezel 馃槵

It is a Speedy bezel. Would a Compax bezel cost more?

I鈥檝e been pretty lucky these days but I鈥檓 starting to push my luck.

Picked up two diamond in the rough.

One had the perfect crystal that attracts my attention and keeps some people away. A nice 38mm bumper with propeller hands. The second is a Polerouter Jet in pieces with a beautiful light gray dial, mint case and original crystal.

Here are the original listing pictures followed by mine.

If you have too much bare space on your wall there are several pre WW2 Seikoshan (sp?) regulator clocks up for bids on Ebay.

One has an especially nice wood veneer which has two S shaped inclusions on opposite sides of the dial. I wonder if they did that on purpose?

Just bought a nice Vintage 1977 Seiko from eBay:

- Unpolished 37mm Case
- Automatic Movement
- Blue Dial with Applied Markers & Intact Lume Plots
- Baton Hands with Intact Lume Markers
- Original Steel Double Grain Bracelet
- $90 shipped from California (I am in Texas)

It's basically cheaper than a Hodinkee strap ::psy::

Vintage Seiko Sportsman 6602-9981 (late 1960s, I think) on original bracelet and with hang tag, but no box or papers.
Non hacking; no quick set date, BUT... NOS or damn near.

NOS is one of those terms you shouldn't use unless you are absolutely certain - this one has a few marks on the lugs and seemingly some light scratches on the rear marking it as used.

Outstanding good condition and drool worthy though!! 馃槻
That BoR looks superb..! 馃グ

Btw, you can see on the serial number that it is from December 1966. This is the first time I have seen a Seiko of that era in plated metal, always wondered how they would look - nu surprise that the quality looks to be great.
