This 1940s Lecoultre with a 24 hour dial that took about a year of hunting to land. It's a keeper.

Went through a box of old watches I bought in a lot and one of the watches I found is this one..Self winding Seiko. I'm still trying to find info on this one. Crystal needs polishing. This one cost me about 2$

My first Rolex 馃榾

Sadly Henry isn't my first son.. James was two years ago and it wasn't an occasion worth celebrating:

Fortunately things turned out much better for Henry 馃榾
Congratulations for the watch and Henry and thanks for making me think when I read about your son James. It鈥檚 an eye opener to hear your story. Wear your watch well and I wish you much joy raising your son. Henry will help you heal.

Found a couple of more watches in my search in the lot I have. Both vintage Timex self winding. Left is a Timex divers watch which needs a good polish of the crystal .The other a vintage with the England dial. Both cost the same 2$ each.. I'll post more good stuff if I find .

A vintage pre-Longines Record watch arrived at the Home For Wayward Watches late last week still wearing an ancient pigskin strap.

Don't know much about Record or this model but I like the Record swan logo. The watch saw heavy use in its day. The watch case appears to be of aluminum rather than chrome-plated brass. Close examination with a glass doesn't detect any brassing in the wear, nicks, and scratches. The case back is stainless steel as is the bezel.

The Record 107 15 jewel movement appears clean to my untrained eye. It's lost a little over 2 minutes over 8 days now. It'll have a cleaning and a service then spend a happy semi-retirement providing occasional wearing enjoyment.

The crown doesn't appear to go with the watch. It features a stylized castle keep. Does anyone recognize the logo?

And a Bovet "Top-Down" Valjoux 77:

Congrats on the Bovet - I considered buying it when it was put up for sale, but managed a, for me, rare level of restraint and held off!

The Bovet doesn't beat your Multi-Center Chrono, mind you 馃槣

I didn't buy it today, but not presenting it here feels like the wrong thing to do!

Latest purchase is a Zenith Sporto in lovely condition (albeit a little polished). 28800 A/h calibre 2562 (manual). Extremely chuffed with it. Wears super large (36mm + shape makes it appear even larger)

I purchased this MM300 on the right, but it鈥檚 in shipping. The pic is from the owner I just bought it from, we started texting after I purchased it from eBay. We were talking about our PO watches and he sent me that pic. Come to find out, he is a member here and a great guy. Small world.

Just purchased tonight, seller pics. I've been looking to buy something a little bit different.
1918 Waltham Model 1899 Grade 630 17j Gold filled case. I really fell for the dial.
