A flea market find for what you'd call beer money. The seller swore it kept time.

However Edit-add/ after two hours of ownership it appears this can't keep time and the seller agreed to refund cash. Second time this happens to me. Maybe they fear being withdrawn a license if someone complains? Something must be working in the system.

Too bad as I liked the hands, the lume, and the gilt details on the indexes. But the cost of service would have far exceeded the value of the watch.

Well, cancelled my Breitling Superocean Heritage ll today and ordered this instead. Just couldn't say no....

Just paid for an Omega Apollo 11 35th Panda... I had bought one a year ago on EBay, then the seller cancelled the sale and sold it for more money to someone else 🙁 It's taken a year but I've finally found one in the right condition and price and it should be here this week. I'm waiting anxiously for the doorbell to ring....

Arrived 30 min ago after I had spent the better part of the day by the window for any glimpse of the postman. 4 days can seem like a year sometimes

And fitted to my 1985 birthyear Speedy. Took a couple of minutes to figure out how to adjust it.

Now I just have to built up the courage to actually wear it. It certainly isn't an Omega shark mesh regarding sturdiness but "hey" if it could hold up to Ed, Dick, John, Gus, Gordon and the rest of the most awesome guys in history, it should hold up fine on my wrist 😀

Now I have a couple of hours before the wife gets home to make up a story of how much it cost me.

This came in yesterday. Wearing it today. I liked the Sky Light so I decided to add a Sky Eagle.
