Decided to go out hunting today, it has been a while, and managed to bag a couple. First up an Omega 2300/3 circa 1944 and running sweetly, case in pretty neat condition etc. etc. Unfortunately as expected case screw missing, looks to be sheared so a little extra work for my watchmaker. Next up a Roamer Calendar in original case, running sweetly with day and date change spot on. Case an original tomato slicer
Just won this on eBay. Have been hunting a black waffle arrowhead constellation for ages. Seller won't ship to me so has to go to my parents in the US and then forwarded on to me in HK. Wont be seeing it for a long time
I know watch-envy is probably a sin, but I have had my eyes on one of these since I started seeing @Garv posting his. Now I have one.
Was really excited about this one. Just came in from France yesterday. First day on the wrist today. I absolutely love this 1967 variation. I can't get a single photo to do the watch any justice. It is absolutely awesome in person.
7733 inside? The bezel pip vs full lumed triangle vs no lume is puzzling. I've been trying to determine a timeline of tachOmeter vs tachYmeter as well. Love mine, the bezel and matte dial grow on you, and they seem to be getting more expensive by the day. Nice grab!
Delivered this morning Longines Flagship from around 1966 Reference 3118 Cal 345 Nice enamelled medaillon on the caseback Some numbers are engraved at the back of upper lugs, I think I read here a discussion in a thread about flagship numbering few year ago but I can't find it anymore (It's very possible that this thread never happened and that I read it while dreaming)
That's a true beauty, congratulations! ... and welcome to Longines Club cal. 345 ! A small club around here Mine doesn't have the number in the lug. They are supposed to match the number on the inside of the caseback. Funny thing though, my Conquests have them, but my two Flagships do not!
Nice little addition to the collection. Probably replate the case and service the movement when I find the time
